Since setting the dance music world on fire in 2017 with her silky, but sweet vocals on DJ Jochen Miller’s ‘Fingerprints,’ Dutch singer/songwriter Bée (pronounced Bay) is definitely one to watch.

Bée grew up in an artistic family -- her mother, a TV producer, her father, a successful songwriter -- and from a young age felt destined to achieve great things. As a child, Bée would accompany her father to the studio and would become mesmerized by the recording process. She has danced and acted her entire life, but singing is her passion.

After a chance meeting with Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer, Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Shania Twain) Bée traveled to the UK for a writing session and was promptly signed to his his label, Goldun Egg Records.

With influences ranging from Michael Jackson to Justin Bieber, Bée is spearheading success and creativity on her own terms.

“My mum gave me a tiny red box when I was just 8 years old. In that box was a little piece of paper that said: ‘If you open this box, an angel will come out and they will listen to all of your stories and help you solve your problems.’ I used to talk to this ‘angel’ for hours and hours pretty much every day for years. I really felt like there was someone, or something there to answer me, even though I couldn’t see them. I desperately wanted to meet this angel in person and for them to be tangible. But, as I got older, I understood that it’s fine to just feel the strength and direction it gives me."

'See You In A Bit'

‘"See You In A Bit’ is a song about two people being in an on and off relationship. Both of them want to be in control, but they don’t know how. Their feelings are too strong to let go, but they also find it hard to be together. Until they figure out what they really want, they keep on teasing each other."

'Nothing Alike'

"‘Nothing Alike’ is a tune about having a crush on someone while you’re not sure if they feel the same way. You obviously hope they do, but they keep on sending you mixed signals. You’re in the first phase of a potential romance and you’re trying to figure out what it could lead to. Although you two think you’re nothing alike, maybe it’s still worth a try…”
